Ah, spring …

… is a plate of freshly fried softshell crabs.

… is a flower bed just coming to life.

… means putting flowers in and on everything.

Am I right?



    • It seems like every restaurant that we go to – Still, Stove, Belmont – has them right now. These I got at Bubba’s on Shore Drive by the Lesner Bridge.

      • I had one at Surf Rider on Sunday. It was delicious. The best one I ever ate was down at Kill Devil Hills. It was fresh and my Mom fried it in the wok. I want to try the soft shell benedict.
